Huddersfield Town midfielder Scott High is pleased that his performance helped the Terriers seal a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.
The win saw Town return to winning ways with their six home Sky Bet Championship win of the season, in front of 17,297 fans.
Speaking to HTTV after the game, the midfielder commented on how much the win meant.
“It means a lot.
“All the boys dug in deep for the whole 90 minutes to get the three points.
“It wasn’t easy, West Brom are a really good side.
“I think everyone got in, gave 100%, and we got what we deserved.”
High’s play in midfield helped set up Town’s winning goal, and he admits he’s pleased with his performance.
“Yeah, I am.
“Obviously I still could have done better and get on the ball a little bit more.
“I think that bit where we scored the goal, I was quite proud of that.
“Hopefully I can continue that.”
Town have a quick turnaround for their next game, travelling to take on Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday 24 November 2021. Looking ahead to the game, the 20-year-old discussed what the squad can take forward with them.
“The spirit and the determination to beat a good side like West Brom, everyone can take a lot from that.
“To get three points as well, I think we can just build on this and take huge confidence into Wednesday.
“Hopefully we can do the same.”
