Lee Nicholls says Huddersfield Town’s First Team need to get going again following their 1-0 defeat to Swansea City.
A disappointing first half display saw Town unable to come back from behind to split the points at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Speaking to HTTV after the game, Nicholls acknowledged the feeling in the dressing room was far from positive.
“I’m gutted.
“The first half just wasn’t good enough and I think we all know that.
“We spoke about it at full time in the dressing room.
“We need to improve, and we need to come together as a team and find that togetherness that we had a few weeks ago.
“Right now, I’m gutted, I think the whole squad’s gutted to be honest with you.”
Town are back in action on Tuesday 28 September 2021, when they welcome Blackburn Rovers to the John Smith’s Stadium. The ‘keeper says it’s a good chance for the team to turn things around.
“Hopefully we can go into the game and we can go in with confidence regardless, it’s still a good start with us.
“We’ll go in confident as a group and as a team.
“We need to go and put a performance in.
“We just have to performance and try and get something and get going again.”
