Town’s Head Coach looks ahead to Tuesday night’s game against Peterborough United

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán is expecting a Peterborough United side looking to show a reaction on Tuesday 2 November at the Weston Homes Stadium having lost in their last game against Swansea City.
Town will go into the Peterborough game in high spirits having beaten Millwall late on in their last outing at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Speaking on the importance of recovery and the challenges of such a short gap between matches, Carlos shared our goals and targets in weeks such as these.
"Our target is to try to improve the collective dynamic of the team and the individual level of the players. We try to keep that level in every game, and that's the biggest challenge we have. When you play Saturday, Tuesday and Saturday, that's hard.
"I have a lot of confidence in our squad. Our goal is to always try to reduce our weaknesses and always show our strengths. I think the Millwall game was exactly what I was expecting - it was a tough game.
“The most important thing now is to recover well and have our energy for the next game, that will be tough in a different way."
Looking ahead to our next opponents Peterborough United, the Head Coach highlighted how demanding the game will be against a side hoping to show a reaction.
"Peterborough is an aggressive team. It will be a demanding game. They always like to attack and play their passes on the floor. They want to have the ball and sometimes have close to 60% of the ball.
"They come in to our game having lost to Swansea, so I expect a team who will want to show a reaction. They had won twice before that loss, so they will be looking for a positive reaction.
"It's always positive for me to have the reward for the 3 points, because that will strengthen your mentality to go again. The key to getting the reward is to continue doing the work and showing the effort to achieve the results."
