Over £20,000 raised for local charities following March event
- Over 130 supporters stayed the night at John Smith’s Stadium
- Event enjoys a successful third year
- Total expected to rise further upon return to normal working conditions
The Huddersfield Town Foundation’s Big Sleep Out 2020 has raised £21,498.58 and counting, with all funds set to be donated to charities in the local community.
That takes the total raised over the three years of the event taking place to over £120,000 – a sum that only looks set to rise.
Over 130 Huddersfield Town supporters braved the cold on Friday 6 March 2020, the night before Town’s away fixture at Leeds United, to stay the night at the John Smith’s Stadium.
