Over £4,000 donated across four separate local charities after auction

Town fans helped raise over £4,000 for charity through bids in our 2020/21 match worn shirt auction.
As part of the initiative, the Club gave three local charities the opportunity to appear on our away shirts throughout the 2020/21 Championship season to increase awareness and exposure.
Thanks to the participation and generosity of our supporters bidding on our match worn shirts, the final donation total was split between four different charities, with each of them receiving £1082.74.
With the cheques presented by Club Ambassador Andy Booth, the funds were gratefully received by the Huddersfield Town Foundation, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, The Kirkwood, and Platform 1 Huddersfield.
The charities were all due to benefit from the fundraising ‘Pedal for Pounds’ annual bike ride, sponsored by Made by Cooper in 2020, but it was unfortunately postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Supporter Services Manager Robyn Kennderdale commented:
‘’Thank you to all fans who bid on the shirts, which has meant a pre-Christmas boost for all four charities who do excellent work in our community.
“I’m glad we were able to give three of our charities the exposure on our away shirts last season and hopefully ‘Pedal for Pounds’ can make a return in the future once restrictions allow.’’
