Huddersfield Town supporters can hear from Carlos Corberán’s three Assistant Coaches for the first time!
Danny Schofield, Jorge Alarcón and Narcís Pèlach came together for a special interview with #HTTV to discuss their roles with the Terriers.
All three work incredibly closely with Huddersfield Town’s new Head Coach to ensure smooth training protocols and sessions, not only in the First Team but beyond as well.
“It’s very much aligned, with how we all work together,” said Danny. “We work very closely together.”
“I assist on the pitch, so the way we deliver sessions is very individual and in units, so we all lead different parts of drills.”
Jorge has coached alongside Carlos in the past and explained how much he enjoys the style of play they are trying to introduce at Huddersfield Town.
“We have our style and our methodology to build this style in the team. We are focused on building this style in training and we have a positive feeling about that.
“We want to create one style that’s very offensive and be aggressive in the opponent’s half with the ball. And in defence, similar things; play higher and recover the ball as soon as possible.
“We are on a good way to finding this style in our team.”
Alongside this, Narcis has explained how much he’s relishing the role.
“We are enjoying it day-by-day here with the people in the Club; it’s a fantastic place to be.
“With the country and town, it’s fantastic as well. We are so happy to be here, and we want to grow something different, something special and we think we are on that way.”
Jorge and Narcís, who joined the Club when Corberán was appointed, also looked back on their initial reaction to joining Huddersfield Town, how football differs in England and how much they’re enjoying their roles here.
Meanwhile, Danny Schofield detailed how Town’s Head Coach sees him as an Assistant Coach and the B Team Coach.
