"There is no better occasion than Old Trafford on Boxing Day" David Wagner is certainly looking ahead with positivity as his Huddersfield Town side travel to face Manchester United.
Town’s Head Coach feels his players can use their experience of similar encounters to provide some Christmas cheer and end the run of five straight defeats at the Theatre of Dreams.
"The good thing is we have experiences. We know you can't make any mistakes, you have to keep them away from your goal the best you can. First of all you have to recover, and Boxing Day we will be ready.
"I would like to stop this run against any opponent, and the next chance we have is against United. We will see what we can produce."
David Wagner would've definitely been happy from the encouraging showing over the Pennines back in February, but the Head Coach is fully aware of the necessity for better all-round performances to come away with a reward.
"We have to play better. We have to go back to our recent performances to stand a chance of getting a result.
"Usually these are the games that you really want to have. It's what the Premier League is all about. There is no better occasion than Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
"We will be there, we will try everything, and we have to ensure that we perform on a better level."
