Six changes from FA Cup win at Burnley last weekend
- Huddersfield Town side named to face Swansea City
- Head Coach Carlos Corberán makes six changes to the XI
- Nicholls, Toffolo, Hogg, O’Brien, Thomas, and Ward return
Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán has made six changes to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Swansea City; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Having missed last weekend’s Emirates FA Cup win at Burnley through illness, Lee Nicholls comes straight back into the side today. With Ryan Schofield (shoulder) injured, B Team stopper Nicholas Bilokapic is a substitute again.
Having been substitutes at Turf Moor last weekend Harry Toffolo, Lewis O’Brien, Sorba Thomas, Ollie Turton, and Danny Ward all come into the starting side this afternoon.
It is Lewis’ 100th Sky Bet Championship start today!
Jonathan Hogg skippers the side, whilst Matty Pearson, Josh Koroma, Danel Sinani and Tom Lees all keep their place from last weekend too.
Pipa, Jordan Rhodes, Josh Ruffels, Naby Sarr and Jon Russell are substitutes.
Duane Holmes is not in the squad – he’s isolating due to a case of COVID-19 in his household – and Levi Colwill is unavailable for a second straight game due to a minor knee issue.
Long term injury victims Álex Vallejo (knee) and Rolando Aarons (knee) are still sidelined.
