Head Coach Carlos Corberán was in high spirits after watching his side win away at Ashton Gate.
Speaking at full-time, the Town Head Coach shared the importance of seeing his team show a reaction, especially after having fallen behind so early in the contest.
“It was enjoyable, but a win we suffered for, too.
“It was important to show character when you concede with the first action of the game and then miss the penalty, because these types of situations can create frustration and they can beat you.
“When you overcome this adversity, you start to show that you have character, that you have personality and you believe in what we’re doing.
“We didn’t stop until we got what we needed to allow us to take the three points today.
“They dynamic we had when playing away wasn’t right. That is the first challenge we’ve beaten today.
“Secondly, in our last four games we haven’t won and wanted to recover the feeling of the three points, and to attack better in some moments of the game.
“It wasn’t just an emotional reaction. Tactically and technically we controlled the game with a good understanding of the possibilities the game was giving to us.”
