Huddersfield Town Head Coach Carlos Corberán wasn’t happy with the point his side picked up against Rotherham United.
The Millers created the best chances in the game, but Town picked up another point at the John Smith’s Stadium.
When speaking after the draw, Carlos explained that he cannot be happy with the performance and result.
“We couldn’t get the result we wanted and in some moments of the game they were better than us.
“They were creating more clear chances of the game today. On the pitch we couldn’t find our best performance to take all three points.
“We cannot be satisfied for that point because we knew how important the three points were.
“Watching and analysing the game, in some moments we didn’t even deserve a point. So, when you perform less, you need to appreciate the point, but we should’ve gone for the three points, but we didn’t perform to do that.”
Town’s Head Coach summarised the game and gave his thoughts on the performance overall.
“Sometimes when you’re playing this type of game, you have a lot of pressure and it’s key to compete in the game.
“In the first half, we were spending a lot of moments competing from throw-ins, second balls and long balls. We couldn’t impose our style to attack.
“Only in the last minutes of the first half, through the incorporation of Edmonds-Green, we started to find some possibilities to attack in the offensive half, but we didn’t create like we had to do.
“In the second half, they started to dominate the game more with long balls, second balls, and we couldn’t find a reaction.
“We couldn’t take the ball, attack in the offensive half, and move the game into the offensive half; that was exactly what we needed to do to take control of the game.
“The summary of the second half was that they created more chances than us. We didn’t create enough chances to go for the game.”
