Town’s Head Coach looks ahead to Saturday’s game against Cardiff

Huddersfield Town Head Coach says he is expecting a demanding game against Cardiff City.
Town travel to the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 6 November 2021 for their third back-to-back game in the Sky Bet Championship game.
Carlos discussed what he expects from them, saying that their lack of Manager makes no difference to the game.
“The situation is the same.
“I need to analyse the opponents.
“I know this group of players are an experienced group in the Championship.
“I am watching how they are playing right now, and it’s similar to how they were playing from the beginning, that hasn’t changed.
“There are things that I can’t control in a game, like the dynamic, and there are things that I can control, like how we prepare for the game.
“We need to go to Cardiff with the maximum concentration and the best recovery from the previous game.
“Cardiff is going to be one very demanding game and we need to be prepared to face this game and show our best performance to get the right result.”
Following Tuesday’s announcement concerning the PURE Business Group, the Spaniard was questioned.
“The situation is completely separate to the Club.
“We wish the best to Phil and the people involved.
“It’s true that it isn’t something that is affecting the Club.
“Our preparation for the game is exactly the same as usual.
“The players and the staff have been spoken to and told that the situation in Huddersfield is exactly the same as it was at the beginning of the season.
“We can focus on the football.
Town’s Head Coach also provided an update, including the latest on Jonathan Hogg and Duane Holmes.
“Hoggy and Duane are both receiving a medical assessment right now.
“Both are going to train this morning, if they do well, then they’ll both be options to play.
“We’ll see how the medical staff are managing them and how they feel after training.
“The other players from the Peterborough game are fine, every player is in the same condition.
“We’re in the same position with all of our longer-term injuries.
“All of them continue working with the medical staff.
“Ryan Schofield has started one or two training sessions per week with the Head of Goalkeeping, but he still isn’t training with the group.”
