- Huddersfield Town Women to play Everton at John Smith’s Stadium
- Team hoping to beat current attendance record of 1,115
- Ticket information and kick-off details to be announced in due course
Huddersfield Town Women are delighted to announce that they will be hosting their Fourth Round Vitality Women’s FA Cup fixture against Everton at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday 30 January 2022.
A huge fixture for the Club, and a big test against a Barclays FA Women's Super League side, it is also a great opportunity for Town fans to watch their local women’s football side in action, maybe for the first time.
Town Women are hoping to beat their current attendance record, which stands at 1,115. However, with Government guidelines subject to change, updates will be continually posted in due course.
Ticket information, alongside confirmation of the kick-off time, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Huddersfield Town Women’s Chair, Alison Bamforth, commented:
“The whole Club are incredibly excited to have the privilege of welcoming Jean-Luc Vasseur and his Everton side to Huddersfield.
“We are delighted that our players once again have an opportunity to test themselves against WSL opposition, building on the experience of playing Brighton & Hove Albion WFC in last year’s Vitality Women’s FC Cup Fifth Round.
“I would like to extend huge thanks to Huddersfield Town for hosting the game at the John Smith’s Stadium, and would love to see the whole of Huddersfield out in force to be that ‘12th man’, and perhaps help generate a bit of FA Cup magic!”
We will try our best to deliver updates regarding this fixture as soon as possible and will post these details on our website - www.htwfc.co.uk - and across our social channels; @HTAFCWomen.
