Huddersfield Town continue their Sky Bet Championship campaign on Tuesday 14 September 2021 when they travel to Bloomfield Road to take on Blackpool; 7.45pm kick-off.
Town go into Tuesday’s game looking to bounce back from their narrow 2-1 defeat on Saturday 11 September 2021.
Blackpool come into the game hoping to build on their first win of the season, a 1-0 win over Fulham on Saturday 11 September 2021.
THE OPPOSITION
Blackpool finished last season sitting in third place in the Sky Bet League One table.
They went on to gain promotion to the Sky Bet Championship following a 2-1 win over Lincoln City in the Play-Off Final.
Managed by Neil Critchley, Blackpool have picked up five points so far.
ONES TO WATCH
Josh Bowler
Bowler signed for Blackpool from Everton ahead of the current campaign. Primarily a left-sided winger, the 22-year-old moved to the Seasiders with Championship experience already under his belt, following a loan spell with Hull City in 2019/20. Last season saw him score 3 goals in six appearances and bag two assists for Everton’s Under-23s in Premier League 2. This season so far has seen Bowler appear in every game, and score the winning goal against Fulham.
Chris Maxwell
The ‘keeper joined the Seasiders from Preston North End in January 2020. At the end of the 2020/21 season he won the League One EFL Golden Glove for keeping 21 clean sheets. He was also named in the League One PFA Team of the Year. Ahead of the current campaign, the 31-year-old signed a new two-year contract with Blackpool. Maxwell is a mainstay in Critchley’s side and has started every game so far this season.
Keshi Anderson
The 25-year-old signed for Blackpool on a two-year contract from Swindon Town in June 2020. He scored his first goal for the Club in their Papa John’s Trophy tie against Accrington Stanley in October 2020. The striker’s debut season saw him score three goals in 26 appearances for the Seasiders. So far, the 2021 season has seen Anderson start every game, and score his first goal of the new campaign in the First Round of the Carabao Cup against Middlesbrough.

All tickets are classed as restricted view due to supporting pillars, although the majority of tickets are not restricted at all. Unfortunately, our Ticket Office has no way of telling which are and aren’t restricted view.
Disabled supporters should pay their relevant price class, with a companion ticket free of charge.
Blackpool FC advise that supporters wear masks inside Bloomfield Road.
