Huddersfield Town’s Young Terriers’ 2019/20 Clarets Cup Final against Burnley FC will be streamed live and will be free to watch on the Club’s official YouTube Channel!

Supporters will have the opportunity to get a glimpse into Town’s Academy playing at the John Smith’s Stadium as the game will be streamed FOR FREE live on YouTube.

The live stream for the match against Burnley, on Tuesday 4 May 2021 (6pm kick-off), will be a one-camera broadcast live from the Stadium and will have commentary provided by the Club.

This is different to the streaming service provided by iFollow HTAFC for First Team games throughout the season, which is a four-camera mix.

Jon Worthington will lead the Young Terriers on Tuesday evening, and spoke to htafc.com ahead of the game to discuss how hard his side have worked to get to the Final.

“The lads have worked really hard.

“It’s last year’s final, so all the games in the leadup to this were predominantly last season and pre-Covid, so it’s been a long wait for us to get round to the Final.

“I think it’s important for the lads to have that experience and that both ourselves and Burnley made this Final happen.”

Worthy went on to talk about why Cup games and competitions such as the Central League Cup are important for the Young Terriers.

“They give them different experiences, different pressures to deal with and the reward of winning a final is massive and so it’s important that you create that winning mentality within the players.

“We apply more pressure to them, and I think that’s important because at the end of the day you’re trying to create different scenarios and different emotions for the players.

“These games are a good way for them to get that exposure and experience.”

Worthy also spoke about what he’s expecting to see from Burnley.

“I expect it to be a tough game.

“Burnley are a well-established Academy with a pretty clear identity and style.

“We’ve been looking at footage of them throughout the week and having meetings with the players where we’ve been getting across what our game plan is to counteract Burnley’s style.”
